Data logger perfect replacement to manual logging

Data logger is a device, which is the battery-powered device equipped with an internal microprocessor, data storage, and sensor ports. Data loggers can be deployed in a variety of environments to record measurements at set intervals for up to years at a time.

Data loggers can be used to measure air temperature, relative humidity, AC/DC voltage, water temperature and many more. It can be a single unit device that fits in the palm of a hand or it can be multi-channel data collection instrument equipped with one or more external sensors.

Now how can we use a Data logger? So first, download and install software on the device. Then connect to the data logger and launch parameters. After that place in the desired location. It can record data for a desired period of time. Reconnect to the data logger via mobile device or other devices. Download data files and analyze the data.

Now we know how to use data logger next thing came to mind is where they are used? So they are used in a broad range of indoor, outdoor, underwater and temperature controlled environments-essentially anywhere data is needed and the convenience of battery power is used.

There are three main types of data loggers :

USB data loggers: They are compact, reusable and portable and offer low cost and easy setup and deployment.

BLE-enabled loggers: They are also compact, reusable, portable, easy to set up and deploy, and offer the added benefit of being able to measure and transmit data wirelessly to mobile devices.

Wireless sensors: They are also known as data nodes; transmit real-time data from dozens of points to a central computer or gateway.
