What is data logger and how does it works


Data logging is a process which involves the use of data logger for the purpose of recording all the data which passes at a specific point. These are small equipment which is powered by a battery and have microprocessor along with sensors and internal data memory. Some of them easily interfaced with the computers to analyze the collected data.

How data logger works?

First of all, the data logger is connected to a computer via using some USB interface. After that, by using data logger software one select the logging parameters like start time, sampling intervals and much more and then it is activated. Then, it is disconnected and get fixed in the desired location for taking the recordings and storing it in the form of data along with sate as well as time. As the monitoring period ends, it will be taken back to the computer and attached to it once again for displaying the recordings.
